Intro

Hello, my name is Tyanna and I am a recent graduate from SNHU with a bachelor's degree in computer science and a concentration in software engineering. I have had a passion for computers and technology since I was 8 years old! I decided to go back to college to learn and grow in a field I am very passionate about.
I started SNHU in July of 2019 and officially finished in August of 2023. Although I am a recent graduate, I have many skills to offer. I have not stopped with SNHU and continue to grow my skills and education through other sources and am currently learning AWS as well as UX design. I am passionate about creating reliable and helpful software as well as being a part of a team in game development. Currently I am working towards my CompTIA A+ certifications and enhancing my Android development skills. I am a team player with active listening, problem-solving, critical thinking skills and strong interpersonal communication skills. I am self-aware, accountable, and self-learning with an ability to handle time management.
During my four years at SNHU I have worked on many projects that were both challenging yet rewarding. It paved the way for me to start a professional career in software engineering! I have learned many languages throughout my schooling. HTML and CSS for instance helped me build this website! I have also learned C++, Python, and C#. I learned Database's that are designed to allow people to organize and structure information. SQL which can allow you to operate varied systems, Data structures which are organizational methods for storing information in a database and algorithms which describe the process required to complete tasks. I've learned source control management as well as git and testing procedures such as unit testing, integration testing, and system testing. I gained the knowledge needed for secure coding as well as how to debug effectively and efficiently. You can find projects I have completed showcasing these skills in the work section of this webpage. I also have a minor in Game Development and have gained the skills to work with UE (Unreal Engine) as well as game development coding standards with C++. I have gained the knowledge to work as a team player either in a scrum team or game development team. I have put together GitHub repositories in each of these sections to showcase my skills through projects I have completed throughout my schooling.
